- Change in document engine
Third party component for generating PDF documents and email content from Word correspondence templates is changed from Syncfusion to Aspose. The new component is ~30% faster and produces smaller PDF files compared to previous. This change includes a perpetual license instead of annual, giving Insicon more control over the future updates.
- Storing correspondence documents in Azure blob storage
On i2i cloud installations it is now possible to store generated correspondence documents in Azure blob storage. This new feature helps to reduce the database size and Azure SQL costs, while keeping control of security permissions and having out of the box durability with geo-replication and additional cost efficiency with cool and archive tiers for old documents.
